Last October 8th, four types of new natural material appeared for Treasure Hunter in Runescape. Whether you missed or didn’t miss it, today’s article will cover the Pet of Seasons for RS Gold hunters. Find out more here!
The Pet of Seasons
From 00:00 UTC on 8th October until 23:59 UTC on 13th October, Treasure Hunter will yield four types of natural material: flourishing seeds, lush blossoms, fallen leaves and charred branches. These make four seasonal pets, and by combining them you’ll get a perennially faithful follower for your adventures: the Pet of Seasons. Don’t worry if you missed the event though; these can be collected through gameplay by training Herblore, Woodcutting, Farming and Firemaking, respectively. You can also swap materials of any of the four types by trading directly with other players, or you can get them when you buy Runescape gold.
Every three months, the Pet of Seasons changes its appearance to match the time of year: blossoming in spring, verdant in summer, golden-brown in autumn, and snowy in winter. If you wish, you can invert the seasons with a right-click.
Obtaining the Pet of Seasons
Collect 600 of any one type to make the corresponding seasonal pet. To obtain the Pet of Seasons, you’ll need to combine all four for the token. As mentioned above, this can be traded on the Grand Exchange with gold4rs, or activated if you’d prefer to keep the pet for yourself. It’s possible to create more than one token if you wish to trade them off for a generous amount of RSgold (trust us; these won’t come cheap!).
A New Adventuring Partner
Truly, the Pet of Seasons is an ideal adventuring partner all year round because of its aesthetics. It’s the perfect match for the Crown and Cloak of Seasons, too, if you have both. If you’re not interested in having one following after you, you should at least consider obtaining it as it is sure to be highly sought-after and won’t sell for cheap RS gold. Note that any spare materials will be cleared up on the 28th of October, but before then you can trade them for Bonus XP in their related skill by speaking to Lady Niya in Burthorpe.
Ironman players, however, can collect materials and create pets, but they cannot:
- Trade materials with other players.
- Trade the Pet of Seasons token.
- Trade spare materials for Bonus XP.
