So for my very first RS 2007 Gold Moment (not really a first but I think I will make this a series since there are a lot of these stories popping out of nowhere), I will share you the story of a player that got permanently banned because of his creativity and the fault of the game developers. Normally, a player gets banned because he did something against the rules or in short, it is his fault. Not on this one, that’s why I came up with Old School Runescape Gold Moments! One player got banned because he wore a combination of equipment in-game to make him look like a member of KKK. KKK (Ku Klux Klan) according to Wikipedia,  is the name of three distinct past and present movements in the United States that have advocated extremist reactionary currents such as white supremacy, white nationalism, anti-immigration, and, especially in later iterations, Nordicism,[6][7] anti-Catholicism,[8][9] and anti-Semitism,[9] historically expressed through terrorism aimed at groups or individuals whom they opposed.[10] All three movements have called for the “purification” of American society, and all are consideredright wing extremist organizations.

It’s absurd right. To think that the items were put there by developers and with this very creative player only applied his creativity, the ban was really uncalled for and unnecessary. I would understand if someone reported him and only gave him warning. But to be permanently banned? Come on. It’s like overreacting. They didn’t even know if he really wanted to portray his character as a KKK member anyways. Maybe with a little confirmation on the player’s side if he really intended to depict the message of the KKK, maybe, yes all caps MAYBE, he did deserve a permanent ban. This paragraph would be a comment of someone who didn’t know the real story.

Old School Runescape Gold Moment SURPRISE! The player deserved the permanent ban because while wearing the costume, they acted as if they were the real KKK! Racial slurs while roaming around the game, yeah that would merit you a permaban. Racism is an offense that falls under permanent ban.
