Rune essence is a type of material used in Runecrafting. It can be crafted into low leveled runes (air, mind, fire, water, earth and body runes). Mining rune essence is a great way to make more RS gold since this material is a high demand in Grand Exchange.

 

Mining rune essence has many ways to get them but for the FREE players, the best way to mine is at the Aubury. You could use the Varrock east bank to store the rune essence. In order to get to the Aubury, you need to enter the Aubury’s Rune Shop and right click the teleport option to Aubury. Once you arrived, start mining the rocks with rune essence. Once you’re finished, sell the entire rune essence in Grand Exchnage to make more Rs gold.
