Iron ore can be turned into iron bar using the smithing skill by usin an iron ore on a furnace. This ore can be mined with a mining skill of level 15. You can find the iron ore throughout the mining areas. It is very in demand in the market place like Grand Exchange due to its use in smithing steel bars and iron bars. Because of that, it is a good source to earn more RS gold.

 

There are many places you can mine iron ore, but the best place to go especially for Runescape players are in the Dwarven Mines. There are three iron rocks which are close to each other. Mine and collect as much iron ores until your inventory is full of iron ores. Once you’re done, you can bank them inside the resource dungeon. Mine another batch of ore and repeat the process. Sell the entire iron ore in the Grand Exchange for more RS gold.
