One of the most basic ways to earn money is to grind mobs. While this does not always require you to buy RS gold, it is a surefire way to get golds for yourself. Today’s guide will cover how to farm Grifolapines for profit.
Spend more to earn more
Like with many ways to earn Runescape gold, this method requires some gold for investment. You can buy Runescape gold, or get it some other way. Regardless, you will need it to get a Slayer level of 88. You will also need to have Magic at level 85. This is so you can cast Water Surge as well as Water Wave. Of course, you will need to have access to the Grifolapines which are located in the Polypore Dungeon.
Farming RS gold from Grifolapines
Grifolapines can be found in the third floor of the Polypore Dungeon. They are quite easy to kill and are considered boring by some players. The loot you can get from them however are quite lucrative. To farm them, simply find a location where three or more of them spawn. Next, take them out with Water Surge and Water Wave spells. Grifolapines are weak to water so other water spells may work. Just be aware that can attack with Infestation once they come within one space of your character. If your character has decent armor, the damage will be minimal however.
Loot you can get from Grifolapines include Grifolic flakes, Polypore spores, Runes, Seeds, Snape Grass, Grifolic Wands and Grifolic Shields. These can be sold on the Runescape 3 Grand Exchange for a wealth of coins.
Increasing Runescape gold profits
There is a multitude of ways to improve your profits with this method. First of all is to keep your character from dying. This means wearing high-level magic armor and weapons. Having access to Soul Split can also improve your character’s survivability.
Another way to make more gold quickly is to use High Level Alchemy on Grifolic Wands and Grifolic Shields. This turns them into coins immediately without the need to sell them to an NPC. This also means, that these items will not clog your inventory, allowing you more space for more loot.
