Here we are again with another one of the OSRS accounts being banned mistakenly. Seriously, why is this happening to a lot of accounts in Old School Runescape? It is one thing to endlessly pursue the botters and cheaters in the game but the innocent being wrongly accused is just wrong. It is becoming a problem today since day by day, I keep on seeing complains like this one I am about to share to you guys.

Mistaken OSRS Accounts

Another example of banning an account of an innocent player (benefit of the doubt) is the following:

Hello everyone,

A few months ago my close friend and fellow runescape player “Lost In God” was banned for account hijacking. He is a player who has played on his account for upwards of 10 years, putting in countless hours of work on both RS3 and OSRS. To see it all go away with a ban for something he didn’t do and no chance to appeal it. I’m posting here because he has given up hope and he needs a friend to try and get some attention to his situation. He wrote a long message, which I emailed to Jagex along with some back story to attempt to get his issue resolved or at least clarified. I was never responded to, so I’m hoping posting something here will at least offer some clarification to why this has happened. Thank you, and under this post is his appeal type post that he was unable to get seen by Jagex.

This is only the first part of the post by defame in Reddit. I don’t know if posting in Reddit will surely get Jagex’s attention but it is definitely worth a try. It is just sad that posting in a public forum is the way to go after being ignored by the gaming company for an extended period of time. Best of luck defame. I hope you don’t quit and post “OSRS Account for sale” any time soon.
