How Jagex will win against RS gold farmers?

Jagex announces a new item that said will battle against RS gold farmers. This item is called Bond. The Bonds are the new in-game item that can be traded to other players and can be bought using RS gold. The players will determine how much RS gold cost for one Bond just like any other items in Grand Exchange. Not only that, this item can be used to redeem a 14 days of subscription, 8 spins for Squeal of Fortune, and 160 RuneCoins. They can even use the Bonds to buy items in Runescape store, use them for donations and even buy RuneFest tickets.

 

Jagex said that this item is the crucial part of their move against RS gold farmers and to be able to fix the damage that they caused to the game’s economy. Simply buying the Bonds will give you a lot of benefits especially they use it to become MEMBERS.

 

The question is, can this really stop the RS gold farmers?
