Runefest has come yet again! Not 2015 though, but 2016! Runescape has truly had a long road. It started with pixilated graphics with mini content about basic role playing game. Now, runescape has evolved completely with massive content and mechanics. Moreover, despite its age, a lot of people are still playing and addicted to runescape. Some are getting back at the game to bring back some nostalgic feeling.

If there is runescape 2016, it assures that runescape is going to run for years. Since, the developers of runescape won’t even host a game convention without tons of players. If not a top MMORPG, runescape is still holding its breath from extinction. Runefest is like a celebration of runescape surviving another year on the verge of extinction.

The developers have not yet announced the whereabouts of runefest. It will be on October again, like last year. It will be a haven for runescape players again!

Technical rules are not going to be changed, like kids should accompanied by an adult upon going to the event. It is going to be 18 years old and above.

Runefest 2016: New Game Client

There will be a new game client to be released!

“This one will be accessible by everyone using the current Java client and our extensive testing will mean it’s at least as fast as – but probably far quicker than – your current experience. You’ll get bigger draw distances, better lighting, shadows, and water, culminating in a far deeper, more immersive RuneScape experience.” said by one of the developers.

If there is something that improved a lot, it is the water and shadow on the game. It looked more realistic than the water of other updated MMORPG.
