You’ll also need Clean Toadflax and Vials of Water which will create the unfinished potions. Thankfully, creating the potions does not require a special location. This means you can create them while near the bank or the Grand Exchange.

Creating an Unfinished Toadflax Potion is incredibly simple. First get Clean Toadflax and Vials of Water from your bank and place it in your inventory. Next, use a Clean Toadflax on a Vial of Water. This will then create an Toadflax Potion(unf).  The unfinished potions can then be sold on the Grand Exchange for 5,286 coins.

With the method described above, it can be very hard to turn a profit. The best way and perhaps only way to profit with this method is to use a Scroll of Cleansing. While this item costs 20,000 tokens through Dungeoneering, it gives players a 10% to create a potion without using up the herb component. For example, a batch of 14 Clean Toadflax and 14 Vials of Water will create 14 Toadflax Potion(unf) BUT will leave 2 Clean Toadflax. This is critical as a Clean Toadflax actually sells more than the unfinished potion.

Another way to boost output is through the use of Portable Wells. Similar to a Scroll of Cleansing, the well gives the character the chance to create and additional unfinished Toadflax Potion for free. The rate is just 5% however, when creating large batches of the unfinished potion, this figure start to matter.
